This Listing is for a RIB STRAP only,
not the entire shoulder belt ensemble pictured below
Please read carefully
Do you already own this Belt?
If the answer is no, this listing is not for you.
If you *do* own that belt, and you want it to look like *This* Belt......
Well I have great news!
I am making this RIB STRAP
which attaches to that belt you ALREADY have
for an instant upgrade from Ocarina of Time, to Twilight Princess or Breath of the Wild
Here's what I need to know:
**What is the measurement around your chest?
(only the fullest area of the chest, do not measure up over the shoulder or downward, just straight around the fullest part of the chest)
The Rib Strap
is made of brown vinyl that looks like leather and matches the brown version Master Sword Belt PERfectly.
UPDATE TO DESIGN:
Both ends of this belt are now OPENable and close with velcro so that you can just attach it to the area of the belt you want.
No need to slide it onto your belt and over all the keepers and such.
When you attach it to *your* belt, you'll want the back end to attach between the sheath keepers. It will NOT look like my pictures because the belt in MY photos is ALTERED.
When I got my belt, I realized the keeper straps (with the snaps) were WAY too far apart. With the sheath in them, it made it ridgid and held hard against my back. VERY uncomfortable.
so I moved the bottom keeper 4 squares up toward the other keeper on the belt (closed the gap). Unless you are Savvy like me, YOUR belt still has the keepers still too far apart so you will place the back end of the rib strap between the 2, not under the second one.
This is a photo of the BACK
see how on *my* belt the rib strap loop rests below the bottom keeper?
Yours will have a keeper that is 4 squares further down, so you have to place the loop above, not under
The easiest way to put this on your belt is to have a friend attach the rib strap to the belt while you are wearing it.
You can place the front end with the rivet onto the front, then have your friend place the back end.
this is the point where you might want to find a friend to help adjust the rib strap in back.
The strap can tighten at the ring with the velcro closure.
Once you have that rib strap adjusted in back, never mess with it again. To remove the belt, always undo it from the front where it will be easy for you to put it on all by your onsey next time.
Rib strap front close up with rivet detail
Can you believe that great color match?
This fabric won't last forever, order now!
What I Need To Know to make it:
**What is the measurement around your chest?
(only the fullest area of the chest, do not measure up over the shoulder
or downward, just straight around the fullest part of the chest
)
