From my airship collection I offer this 1928 original 36mm silver medal by the famous karl Goetz. I have a similar listed now, but this one has had a loop added for wearing. Quite well done. Issued on the christening of the LZ 127 as the Graf Zeppelin on the Counts 90th birthday. A pretty medal with the reverse having the Zeppelin coat of arms with children holding party balloons. KG initials KG=Karl Goetz below. Obverse has the familiar portrait of the Count with legend around. Lettered edge. A nice historic medal for the airship collector. See the scans. Free U.S. shipping .
