From 1999 thru 2002, the US Mint produced the current years' quarters' encased in lucite with a blue background.
This set is the 2000 uncirculated quarters which include, Massachusetts, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, and Virginia.
They come wrapped in plastic inside a Mint issued box with the Treasury seal. Also included is a lucite cleaning guide and four 'feet' to place on the bottom.
An unusual gift for the coin collector you know.
