    Description

    Japanese Saki Cup with Geisha playing string instrument in bottom of bowl. Hand painted. 150 yr old. Aakatsuki yama = dawn/daybreak or Aakatsuki Yokoyama (bright mountain?)Very fine crazing. Gold rim on outer edge of cup lip is worn gold.2 ¾” D x aprox 1 ½” T. Foot is raised with 8 sides. Mark black inside.
