Century medical apparatus is a Coryllos Thoracoscope made by the American Cytoscope Makers NY NY .   The device was used to divide pleural adhesions in tuberculosis patients. I believe this is missing some parts, tools and accessories – much remains  - the well made wooden case with closure is 18” x 5” x 5”  - at a couple corners the dove-tail  like joints show a slight separation with no loss of strength or sturdiness.
