    Description

    Offering a vintage Heddon spinning reel as a collection piece; however, could still be used for fishing. Heddon was a well known manufacturer of lures for many years. Sometime during the 60's they merged with Daisy (best known for BB Guns) and manufacturing was moved to Japan; although, still assembled in California. Subsequently Daisy/Heddon was purchased by Roddy.
    Mechanically sound! Reels well, bail and antireverse (constant) and drag (hand tested) work well. Construction is somewhat unique. The body separates with removal of the rear screw. The spool is a two piece design with the drag contained inside the spool. Must be assembled washer spring washer.
