100% Cotton
blouses are H
eavily embroidered with
Red & Black
Agave and other designs.
The measurements are:
Small:  19" across the shoulders, 19" armpit to armpit, 18 1/2" sleeve length & 26" Long.
Medium:  20" across the shoulders, 20" armpit to armpit, 19 1/2" sleeve length & 26" Long.
Large:  23" across the shoulders, 23" armpit to armpit, 19 1/2" sleeve length & 28" Long.
XL:
24" across the shoulders, 24" armpit to armpit, 19 1/2" sleeve length & 29" Long.
XXL Large:  25" across the shoulders, 25" armpit to armpit, 20" sleeve length & 29" Long.
These Blouses were made in
Tlahuitoltepec Mexico.
A few years ago a
French Fashion Designer copied these blouses
and did not give credit to the
Tlahuitoltepec people
(see 6th photo for side by side comparison)
.
There was a big backlash against the French designer and as a result
,
UNESCO gave the
Tlahuitoltepec
community International protection and rights over its Designs and other Cultural Traditions.  A protection that is much needed by the Indigenous peoples of Mexico and
protection against Cultural appropriation!
Machine wash on a delicate cycle,
using a mild soap and dry flat, and press with a cool iron.
