Description
This is a pair of custom handmade 19th reproduction boots from The Buffalo Runner Company from Henrietta, Texas. These brown leather boots are a men's size 8EE. They run true to size. The base model for these boots is likely "The Texan" which retails for 0. Some of the extra custom embellishments include; the red tartan plaid surrounded by a scalloped leather window and secured with copper studs, the custom Texas star decorative silver and brass toned metal badge emblem, and the four concho studs on each side of the boot straps. Likely the added customization would have brought the total to 0-0. These one of kind boots are heavy. The pair weighs 6 pounds 8.4 ounces. The thick leather soles have a metal heel plate/tap. I had someone who wears a solid men's size 8 try the boots on. He says they are a perfect size 8 and feel wide. He has athletic calves, and had to pull hard to get these stovepipe style boots off, and was glad of the boot straps meant for this purpose! These boots show signs of gentle wear. The only flaw is the right boot has one of the concho studs missing form the interior side boot strap. Measurements;Heel: 2" height
