    Description

    Confederate Army (modern production) Shell jacket, vest, and trousers set. Unknown sutler or manufacturer, perhaps well homemade? There does appear to be some machine stitching, but there is also extensive hand stitching. Rather than buying a 'new' suit this suit offers an immediate 'lived' in appearance.
    Shell jacket, believed to be jean wool, extensive hand stitching, Sic Semper Tyranas Virginia crest buttons and Quartermaster Sergeant chevrons - approx 42 chest, 24 neck to hem, 32 inch sleeves, lined muslin?
    Vest, believed to be jean wool, hand stitching, repair to upper back, non functional pocket, plain metal buttons, lined
    Trousers, believed to jean wool, fully lines with cotton/canvas suspenders and button fly. Buttons show minor signs of corrosion approx size 38x30
    Overall uniform is in good, presentable condition with no moth bites, tears, rips, or exterior staining. The lining is a bit discolored towards aging.
