This Historical Reenacting item is from a smoke-free home and smoke-free environment.  Very well taken care of and from a personal collection of historical re-enacting uniforms and costumes.  From the production of various Museum films and documentaries.
Made of quality, soft feeling, thick red wool fabric with white cotton facings and pockets. The button fly is lined with cotton and with pewter buttons - not missing any buttons. The adjustable "V" back on the waistband has eyelet holes for a tie you can add to allow for waist adjustment - currently it is sewn together for fit, but can easily be let-out and add extra width to the waist. The trousers have side seam pockets. Trousers are nicely hemmed and can be either rolled up, cut off, or hemmed.
An ideal gift for the Civil War buff in your life.  A Fantastic item.  Comes with these pewter buttons on the fly and waistband just as seen in these photos.  A steal at this price and a great looking for reenacting.  They look to be unworn.
