This Historical Reenacting item is from a smoke-free home and smoke-free environment.  Very well taken care of and from a personal collection of historical re-enacting uniforms and costumes.  This is clearing out of some left over costume and re-enacting items from a recent TV Movie film shoot.
This PAIR of insignia is BRAND NEW - never used or sewn onto a coat so the edges are crisp and not falling apart.
Allot of reproductions and thick and hard to work with to sew on. These are not! Only 1/4” thick and easily pliable and sew on jackets nicely!
Very, very Nice and Extra-Fancy, extra embroidered pair of Civil War Union Army Officer shoulder epaulets - Rank Insignia.  New and never used or worn - everything is clean and as you can see, these are not your run-of-the-mill re-enacting insignia.  VERY EXTRA-RICH with lots of detail work and extra effort put into them - extra layer of braiding on the outside edges with scrolls and stellar embroidery.  Great private purchase officer item and they look great when worn.  they stand out in a good way.
A great set for living history, films and re-enacting, and a steal at this price and great looking.   Compare elsewhere around ebay for more than + for the same looking item.
