    Description

    This Historical Reenacting item is from a smoke-free home and smoke-free environment.  Very well taken care of and from a personal collection of historical re-enacting uniforms and costumes.
    An outstanding reproduction of the
    M1855 Civil War U.S. issue Cavalry Enlisted Man’s Shell Jacket –
    Typical U.S. Federal Issue enlisted, cavalry shell jacket, constructed of dark blue wool - jacket is trimmed in yellow (indicative of cavalry use) piping.
    Lined in Black cotton.  Long arms and body - very large and roomy size.  Missing two buttons on the front (easily replaced), and clean overall.  Still has some horse hair remnants on each cuff.
