    Description

On consignment with us is this
    size 42
(max) charcoal gray jean wool jacket. The seller indicates this jacket was made by Fred Rickard of the former Bleeding Fingers Sutlery and is a copy of a jacket received by a Georgia soldier while in Richmond in 1864. However, given that it's a pretty nondescript jacket it will undoubtedly work in any time frame. This jacket was worn just a couple times then lived in the closet for quite a while. Thus it remains in great condition inside and out!
Charcoal gray logwood dyed jean wool body (a 1990's County Cloth offering) w/ a course weave red & dark khaki color check pattern cotton body lining. Sleeves are lined in natural color osnaburg. No pockets inside or out. Nine large stamped brass Georgia state seal buttons down the front. No buttons on the cuffs. Hand top stitching plus hand sewn button holes done using logwood dyed thread.
