Description
New 11/19. Tom Gerbracht continues his excellent series on New York Central steam with his latest release. From 1916 to 1930, the Mohawk became the standard-bearer for freight hauling on the system. Over 600 of these 4-8-2s were eventually built. (Gerbracht plans to release a second book in 2020 on the latter Mohawks.) This book on the "early" Mohawks covers up through class L-2d. Over 250 pages with 32 in full color; over 200 images plus data, drawings, and other documentation. This is a hardcover book printed on gloss paper with a separate dust jacket. Retail is .95.
