    Description

    VINTAGE AIREX MODEL 1 BEACHCOMBER  SPINNING REEL
    Shown is a large vintage 1950's Airex Beachcomber Model 1 surf casting reel made by the Lionel Corporation in very good + cosmetic and working condition. Reel is complete, great appearance, nice handle, reel gears are lubed, does has some roughness when winding, uses straight mesh gears, part of why it does, won't be smooth like a DAM Quick reel. Inside the rotor needs to be relubed, white grease is dried up, leave that to new owner. Good spool, not corroded, still has the fuzzy wire on bottom. Clean example for a collection, has the original bag, no rips or holes and hard to find manual. (see pics for more detail).
