    Description

Mid Century Porcelain Cup & Saucer Moriage Geisha Motif Made in Japan
    DETAILS OF ITEM
This is an antique mid century Japanese porcelain cup and saucer set. The cup measures 2 inches high by 3.88 inches in diameter excluding the handle and the saucer measures 5.5 inches in diameter. It was designed depicting a Japanese landscape scene complete with two Geisha, a Maiko, Cherry blossoms, a foot bridge, country houses, a stream and mountains in the background. There is Moriage to the Cherry blossoms in the scene.
The rims of both the cup and saucer have wear to the green color (see photos); otherwise, the rest of the condition is very good. Its age is from the 1960's and it is marked "Made in Japan" at the base.
