    Description

    Auction is for a Mitchell 308 UL French made spinning reel in
    excellent
    condition. The reel comes with the booklet, spare shallow spool and
    spool case with no cracks. Serial# on the foot is 959041.
    Mechanically, the reel works fine. I replaced the 5 coil bail spring and the
    bail is extremely strong and
    snappy. The anti-reverse and clicker
    work perfectly when
    properly engaged. Drag also works correctly.
    Cosmetically, the reel paint is in excellent condition for its age as
    depicted by the pics.
    The chrome is in good condition on the bail wire.
    There are a few tiny paint rubs on the rotor. Not sure this reel has
    ever been on a rod as there are no telltale seat marks on the foot.
