    Description

    On consignment with us is this brand new never worn red/white/black cotton check civilian pattern shirt that will fit an individual with a
    34” chest
    .
    This shirt was made by Doug Towne and is entirely hand sewn: every stitch in this shirt is hand-pulled including the long body seams! Button holes are hand sewn and very nicely done. As a matter of fact all stitching in this shirt is very precise.
    This shirt features a falling pattern collar w/ one button closure, 3 button front plaque and 1 button on each slightly gathered cuff. Buttons are a small size and we believe they’re Mother-Of-Pearl. Rounding out this shirt are underarm gussets, small side seam splits and the fabric’s selvedge edge is used for the bottom hem.

    (measures 19” on the shirt so will fit a 18 1/2" neck comfortably when buttoned

    (not an actual point of measurement in tailoring but a lot of gents ask for it
    Just to mention it we have a virtually identical shirt to this one also on eBay. The only differences are the size, (40), that shirt (the 40) was worn a couple times, and the main (long) seams are machine sewn. Other than that they are identical as for fabric, pattern, buttons and caliber of hand finishing.
