This reel is absolutely new and unused. I am selling these on behalf of a widow who doesn't know anything about fishing. And I'm left-handed. Otherwise I would buy them from her. Her husband bought a dozen Mitchells "to use later" and then put them in a box in the closet. And there they sat for nearly 50 years.
There is a stain -- petroleum(?) in the knurled knob used to unlock the handle. Other than that, looks unfished.
Warranty cards. No scratches from mounting. Action is silky smooth. Box has some wear. You would need a time machine to find a nicer example. Will be shipped priority with insurance.
