Original LZ-129 Hindenburg Zeppelin Fabric, Relic, Skin.

Description

Although I have no provenance for this item, it is consistent with any authenticated pieces I've seen, from it's signature
wave stitching to the errant red lead oxide smear on the back of the original piece from which it was cut. Pieces with stitching
are seldom offered, so I tried to provide a photo showing the stitching on a piece of fabric from the Hindenburg, authenticated
by F.W. von Meister, a representative of the Deutsche Zeppelin Reederei Corp. which owned and operated the Graf and
Hindenburg zeppelins, but eBay wouldn't let me use it because it was less than 500 pixels. You can see the photo by Googling,
Kelleher Auctions, Sale 668, Lot1651. Another good photograph of the stitching  can be seen on a piece from the Graf zeppelin

The piece I am offering (photos 1-3) is approximately 1/2" wide by 1" long.
All the pieces with stitching have been sold.
There are 7 pieces left, 4 this size and 3 a little smaller ( 1/3" X 1"). The smaller ones will be sold last.
Photos 4-7 are of the original large piece of fabric from which the offered piece was cut, they are for
reference only and are
not
part of the auction.
