    Description

    Ozonics is currently charging plus shipping for HR-200 and HR-230 to refurbish it. They say you will have a refurbished unit shipped back to you in approximately 2 weeks. You don’t even get your own unit back. If you want your own unit back plan on 6-8 weeks. Ozonics will only replace your ozone coil 1 time. After that they expect you to discard your old unit and purchase a new one.
    The Ozone cell of the Ozonics HR-200/230 is basically a UV light bulb. It only has a life of 2-3 seasons and its ozone making ability starts to decrease from the first day you turn it on. Ideally, it should be changed every year if you want to keep your unit running like new. If the entire coil is not glowing purple your unit is not functioning to its potential.
    This listing is for the ozone cell for the Ozonics HR-200 and HR-230. Very easy to install. Remove 5 torx screws on the outside of the case. Remove 2 nuts that hold the Ozone cell and install the new cell.
