    Submitted for your perusal
    Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines.
A softcover monograph covering the interesting story of the "shotgun marriage" of
the West Jersey and Seashore Railroad, which was owned by the Pennsylvania Railroad and the Atlantic City Railroad, which was owned by the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad. These two New Jersey railroads engaged in fierce competition for the Atlantic City passenger market. So prominent and critical to the Atlantic City trade, they were ultimately forced to combine by the New Jersey railroad commission.Great story with lots of black and white pictures.
As you can see, this book has seen better days. Heavy shelf wear and dings to the corners.
    FULL DISCLOSURE:
The cover detached from the binding while I was handling it! Sugar Honey Iced Tea!! Painful to see a nice book in this condition. If figured it was completely unsaleable, so I tried my hand at repairing it. Of course I screwed it up. Right kind of glue (PVA), wrong guy repaired it. Glue seeped and damaged last picture. (See image) Well, maybe this is a deal killer, but we gotta do something with it. So here it is warts and all. Priced accordingly.
The sale of the book benefits the pandemic pummeled Pacific Railroad Museum operated by the Pacific Railroad Society; a 501(c)(3) non profit corporation.
After close of auction, this item will ship on the following Tuesday. Thanx for looking!
