"Railroads of Nevada and Eastern California - Vol. 2: The Southern Roads" is David Myrick's extensive and detailed history of the railroads in the lower desert areas of these states.  It is a very complete work with much information on the formation, operation and abandonment of the various lines (see Photos #4, #5, #6 and #7 for the Table of Contents).  He has included many b/w photos as well as detail maps, timetables and other illustrations.  This 480-page (actually numbered 454-933), quarto-size hardcover book was published in 1963 by Howell-North Books as an unstated first printing.  The book is in very good condition with no damage - no dog-eared pages, no text markings and no jammed corners.  The dust jacket is in acceptable condition with no serious damage - small chips and tears as well as some overall wear (see Photos #1 and #12).  The photos are of this very book.  This book will be packed and shipped in our bulletproof manner.
