Description
John Ham's b&w pictorial on the Delaware & Eastern/Delaware & Northern shortline between East Branch, NY on the NYO&W and Arkville, NY on the Ulster & Delaware/NYC. While it did a steady business in the dairy industry, it also served a number of sawmills and wood acid factories. The line was essential in hauling materials for the Pepacton Reservoir at Downsville, part of the New York City water supply. Ham's book also includes the Andes Branch, the Margaretville shops, etc. This is a new, unread, shrinkwrapped copy in a laminated hardcover format (no dust jacket). Contains 208 pages; printed on gloss paper. The publisher, Stony Clove & Catskill Mountain Press, has sold out of this title.Depot Square Publishing has been in the railroad book business since 1994. All new and used books are wrapped in bubble wrap and placed in new bookfolds or boxes with additional spacers and/or packing to prevent damage. Unusual or oversize books may need to be shipped in special cartons.
Normal shipping is 1-2 work days after confirmation of a paid order.

We e-mail all buyers with confirmation of shipment, estimated delivery date, and the USPS tracking number.
If not satisfied, all books are returnable for full price ex shipping, within 30 days of purchase. Buyer pays return shipping.
