Vintage Rare limited edition Mitchell Quartz Gold 330 Fishing Reel display case.
Very, very rare and exclusive and highly sought after, of all the Mitchell reels available to collect they only made 2500 of these and ALL are individually numbered on the reel rotor. This example is 2005 of 2500.
This example is complete with undamaged presentation case, all 4 spare spools included as well as the two Mitchell grease tubes.
It has its own green draw-string bag and all the paperwork and documentation is present. A superb example.
The only thing, and i am being really critical here, is that at some point the reel has acquired a slight knock and there is a tiny mark on the reel rotor, i have taken a pic of this so you can see for yourself, you wont see it unless you look hard but i am being above board and pointing this out in advance and this is reflected in the asking price.
This is a one-off unique chance to purchase a little piece of exclusive Angling/Fishing history from a iconic maker.
This Mitchell 330 quartz reel was the last of the DL Gold collectors range,
"A recent addition into the presentation series, Mitchell in 1997 released for the first & probably the last time, a gold series reel. One of the unique features of this reel is the two-tone black & steel grey patterned paint finish. Mitchell manufactured a limited edition 330 gold series model. Having modest gold plating, the 330 Gold represents a tradition by Mitchell since 1961. This is the first gold presentation Mitchell offered since 1987 and will probably be the last in a long line of tradition by Mitchell. It is known Mitchell will no longer produce presentation versions in the future; all egg-shape models are no longer manufactured as of 2000. This model came with an eye catching plastic presentation case with additional spools. All sets are sequentially serial numbered. Approximately 2500 were issued."
Mitchell have now ceased as a company and this is the very last presentation reel to be made by them.
The reel will be packaged very carefully and sent via Royal Mail International post from United Kingdom, I will ship worldwide but it is not practical to display postal/mail costs in advance to everywhere in the world. Google or similar will assist you for a guide.
I am located in the UK so if you purchase from Europe or the Uk the postal costs will be much cheaper and the difference refunded to you. The postal/shipping costs displayed will be the maximim costs to send to the Us/Canada.
