"Rotary Snowplows on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad" is Joe Hereford's pictorial history of this narrow gauge railroad's operations in clearing the heavy snows on Cumbres Pass.  He documents the steam-powered plow trains of 1974, 1975, 1976, 1978, 1983, 1991, 1993 and 1994 with lots of b/w photos with informative captions.  There is an article on the rotaries themselves, #OM and #OY, and Earl Knoob contributes an article on rotary plow train operations from the viewpoint of the plow pilot.  This 72-page quarto-size horizontal format softcover book was published in 1995 by Windy Point Press. This copy is inscribed by the author to Ernie Robart who contributed photos for this book.  The book is in like-new condition with no damage - no dog-eared pages, no text markings, no jammed corners and no cover creases.
