Tohina E-OH Nippon Antique 19th Century Hand Painted Set of 2 Demitasse Cups & 4 Saucers.
Hand Painted in Nippon, Japan
Signed/Marked on the bottom of the saucers
Beautiful hand-painted Japanese countryside with floral and gold accents, in pentagon shapes.
The saucers are Pentagon Shaped. They measures 5 1/8” across at the widest point.
The cups are also pentagon shaped and are about 2.75” tall and 2 7/8” across the widest point. They hold about 5 ounces filled to the rim. There are gold details on the handles.
These items are very old and the edges are a bit rough, including some small chipping. There are a couple of manufacturing anomolies as expected with antique hand-made pieces.
