    Due to the increased price of lumber, we have had to increase our price for this box.
    Union Mechanical Army Bread Box
    Bread Box, Biscuit, or Hard Tac Wood Box - Professionally Hand Crafted. 24" long x 17 1/2" wide x 12" tall. The bottom cleats add 3/4 of an inch to the height of the box. This is a handmade box, made out of pine using reproduction plans from original plans. This box is professionally constructed using glued and clamed joints and then nailed together. All nail heads are filled with wood filler. We use exposed cut nails in the box to give the box a period nailed look. The boards for the lid and the bottom of the box are glued and clamped. There are hemp rope handles for easy carrying. The lid of the box is hand stenciled using a reproduction stencil of the original stencil of the time. This is a nice professionally crafted box. This is a must for the reenactor who wants to carry his or her equipment in a nice period looking bread box.
