Next up for bids is this vintage 1965 Mitchell Garcia 308 ultra lite spinning reel.
These reels truly bring a new dimension of excitement and sport to your fishing.
A two lb. largemouth feels like a worlds record with this reel and matching rod (which i have if anyone is interested). But the 308 was packed with amazing power and precision with a silky smooth drag. They were not toys but serious angling machines.
I consider this a lightly used reel as it shows very little wear. A few nicks and a thin line of wear along the outside of the gear housing cover.
The reel is in as new operating condition. It is spooled with new 4lb. fluorocarbon line.
