Thank you for looking. Looks like a reproduction of a medieval piece, pretty lightweight, is not brass, has silver tone underneath, brass color may be paint. Metal unknown. Heavy surface wear. Candle holders may need tightening if you like, feel a bit loose, though metal could be fragile. Handle with care. Almost 50 years old. Have a great day
