Due to issues within the USPS, some packages might be delayed. For the most part, it seems rods are taking extra time to ship. Please keep this in mind. Thank you!
Up for sale is a unique Adolf Tlustos Tap fishing reel. This reel seems to be somewhat uncommon here in the states; however, if you like vintage spinning reels, this would be a great addition for your collection. This is a Czechia made reel, that dates back to the 1950's (see screenshot of patent diagram in the last photo). From what I found; three different sizes of this reel were made (I am not entirely sure what size this example is, it looks like a small or medium). The total spool rotor diameter is 2 7/8”. From the top of the spool, to the bottom of the reel, it measures roughly 3 3/4". All-in-all, this reel does show some wear, but it still looks nice. This is the first time I have come across an Adolf Tlustos Tap reel, but everything appears to work as intended. This reel folds up nicely in the original box. Once again, this would be a great addition to any collection. Please see all of the photos and thank you for looking.
