Vintage Blood Pressure Baumanometer "The Super Sphyg" No.6674

Description

Vintage Blood Pressure  Baumanometer "The Super Sphyg" No.6674 . The Baum Company started making these machines in 1916 and this is an early version with a low , what we think is the serial number, No 6674. Comes in the original wooden case but is not complete. Have the top wood cover of the box which is detached from the bottom but was probably attached (Glued) and has a hinged lid. There is mercury in the glass tubing which is sealed but does not have the bulb attachment. Has a spring arm that we think go into the metal tube to open and close the lid.  Has the wrapping which has some of the hardened black material that is at the end of the glass tubing. Box measures closed 14.5" long 4.5" wide and 2.75" high. Has metal handle and double latch which opens and closes. Selling as a vintage medical display piece only and not for medical purposes.
