Centaure Caribe spin reel
This large size spin reel was made in the 50s & 60s and weighs 19.4oz. It is in excellent condition & works well. It has a smooth drag, good anti-reverse, good gears and a black
colored metal body. The reel has a new drag click & bail spring. This reel has a 4.1/1 gear ratio and will hold 300 yds. of 20 lb. test, it is a good quality reel, it is a grade 9/9. This is the largest of three sizes of Centaure's made in this time period and had a large line capacity for its weight. Was the favorite of big game spin fisherman in the early 60s.

The reels I sell are 98% used, and in between 20 & 100 years old. Most are far from perfect, so I some times use the Orca grading system, the first no. is how it looks and the second how it works. A 5/5 would be for parts and a 10/10 would be new.
