VINTAGE HAND PAINTED SOKO CHINA SATSUMA FINE PORCELAIN MINI
CUP AND SAUCER SET JAPAN CUTE!
Lovely cabinet sized, hand painted set of porcelain  cup and cup plate by the Soko
China company. Cup features a semi translucent white base with a handful of red
flowers and what looks to be a lake front/water mill scene with a forest and mountain in
the background. The cup also has a lithopane with a geisha pressed inside of the cup.
Inside of the cup plate shows a similar scene. Both pieces are accented with a nice black
and gold tone slightly curled rim. Cup measures ~ 2" T x 3" W, saucer about 4" D.
Marked "Soko China Hand Painted Japan" on the rear of the cup plate.
No cracks, chips, crazing, or fading of the hand painted design. Outter parts of the rim
have very minimal fading of the gilded trim. Very good to excellent condition.
