Vintage Langley SPINLITE "DELUXE" Model 850, Ultralite. Made in California, USA.

Description

Offering a nice Old Langley Ultralite spinning reel that I took from my planed painting pile (just will never get to them all). The "DELUX" was the only silver ultralite. Despite the fact European reels ruled the spinning reel market; at the time, Langley produced and sold many reels equally reliable. During the 60's ZEBCO started looking to get into the spinning reels market and chose to purchase Langley; who, had decided too concentrate on aircraft parts. ZEBCO continued with the same reels under their name without changing anything else.
Mechanically sound. Reels well, antireverse, bail and drag working as designed. The antireverse will sometimes be delayed a turn depending on the bails position when closed.
Cosmetically, has a couple of blemishes that appear to have been a single incident of dropping, see pics.
