design of red and white roses with gold rim. (Lot #4)
Teacup and matching saucer
saucer measures 5.5" diameter
CONDITION:
There is a break in the pattern of a red rose on the saucer. It appears to be paint from the original artist. There is a 3mm chip in the rim of the saucer. It has gold over it, so perhaps it's a natural imperfection. Inside the saucer, the paint is rubbed off one of the green leaves, and a spot in another leaf. All of this can be seen in the photos. There are some spots in the pictures that are from the sun, and are not damage to the set. No crazing of the porcelain. The gold is rippled, but I don't think that's crazing (see photos). I am no expert, but there doesn't seem to be areas where the gold is rubbed off.
Payment
