    Description

    This vintage, all metal Shakespeare spinning reel (Model 2062 EF) was manufactured in 1965. The reel body houses a ball bearing to support the all steel worm drive (helical) gearing. With a strong drag, snappy bail, and reliable anti-reverse mechanism, all mechanical functions are excellent after a complete cleaning and servicing. The body, rotor cup and spool have been repainted due to wear in use for 56 years. This reel includes its original box; a spare spool with line; original service wrench; owner’s manual and parts list. The 2062 has a retrieve ratio of 3.8 to 1 and the line capacity is approx. 235 yds. of 8 lb. test mono. Weight is 10.7 oz. “They don’t make ‘em like they used to”, and with maintenance, this fine vintage reel will outlast many of today’s modern reels. Shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
