Vtg KA-BAR Kabar Chromed-Steel HATCHET Leather Sheath & Yellow Handle Edge Tool

Offered is this KABAR hatchet with marked leather sheath. Constructed from a one piece chrome steel head and shaft. There is
one flaw to the finish above the handle on one side that is pictured (photos 2 & 6).
Handle has a yellow (imitation ivory? or horn look) with black, off-white, and brass spacers and an aluminum pommel. Handle is tight with no wiggle. It measures 11-3/4" long x 4-1/8" head length and a 2-1/2" edge/bit. The manufacturers stamp "KABAR" is at the base of the shaft just above the handle. The KABAR leather sheath is in good shape save a small puncture near the brand. Snap works as it should. Edge looks original to me. Hatchet looks like it has seen light use. Please see photos.
