WHITE COTTON BROADCLOTH CIVILIAN SHIRT. 40 Chest. Used but in GREAT shape

On hand is this bright white (see PHOTO NOTE below) cotton broadcloth (
not muslin
) civilian pattern shirt that will fit a gentleman with a
40” chest
.  This shirt has been worn a couple times but remains in excellent++ physical condition (NO rips, tears, repairs, etc). It was freshly laundered and pressed prior to being sent in.  There are a couple
v-e-r-y light
stains inside the cuffs and the same around the inside of the collar. However, these are VERY light – and so much so that they would not photograph (meaning they wouldn’t come out in the images). One tiny stain that is visible is a tiny rusty brown color mark on the underside of the collar. I placed a dime next to it in the photo for a size reference (sorry, dime not included :-).
This shirt features a low cut style falling collar, front button plaquet, side seam splits and underarm gussets. All inside seams are rolled and hemmed by machine. There are two small white buttons on the front plaquet, one for closing the collar and one on each cuff. These buttons are 7/16” and
appear
to be antique china.
The hand sewn buttonholes are beautifully done and there is some hand felling along the inside of the cuffs and on one of the inside front plaquets (
see photos with the small yellow arrows pointing out that specific work
).  Buttons and holes on the cuffs are off-set to the back of the cuff which is completely historically accurate.
Maker unknown but very nicely done – and with some super nice button hole work. It is very possible this shirt may have been made by one of the high end makers.

(so will fit up to a 16” neck (max) comfortably.)

(as measured from the center back of the neck, over the shoulder and down to the bottom edge of the cuff)
CUFFS:  9”
around the inside when buttoned closed. (your wrists need be smaller than this to be comfortable when the cuffs are buttoned)
FRONT LENGTH:  31”
(base of collar to front bottom hem)
BACK LENGTH:  32 1/2"
(base of collar (center back) to rear bottom hem)
ARMPIT-TO-ARMPIT:  27”
(not an official point of measurement in the tailoring world but a lot of guys ask for it)

bright white

what is sometimes historically referred to as a “boiled shirt”
).  Also, because of no flash any dark areas on this shirt are simply shadows.
