RARE Photo appears in the original "O the Great Days" book By Edward W Humphreys of Woodstown Salem County New Jersey. Page 164.  Humphreys was also a friend of Walt Whitman and early store owner and photographer of the area. Cabinet photo is 8 x 6 1/2. Girl with pony tail is looking up at the sign which reads Sharptown 1/4 mile to left and Swedesboro 6.5 miles to the right.  I believe the sign existed at the end of Marlton road where it meets Kings Highway. Not far from Richmans Ice Cream that once existed and Cowtown. Farm is still in the background today.  I have many original Glass Negatives and photo's from the above book of EW Humphreys if interested.  Located near Alloway, Salem, Penns Grove, Auburn, Elmer and Mullica Hill.
