Description
This cute handheld Palm PDA came out in 2005, before Smartphones obsoleted the Personal Digital Assistant market.Back then, a Palm device was a status symbol and must-have accessory for a high tech worker in Silicon Valley.
The Z22 is still useful, it can do many of the tasks that smartphone apps do today.
The Z22 can run most of the basic programs included in previous Palm PDAs including:
[3]
Contacts
Calculator (Calc)
Tasks
Calendar
Note Pad
Memos
World
Clock
Photos
Prefs
HotSync
The Z22 came with a program called
Addit
[3]
which allowed users to order software while offline, and then have it sent to the handheld at the next hotsync. In addition,
Addit
included several mini-programs within itself including
Chess
Solitaire
First Aid (basic first aid instructions)
Check Split (a bill-splitting program)
Carbs (a
carbohydrate
nutritional calculator)
its relatively low resolution screen adds to its charm. Replacement rechargeable batteries for the Z22 are still widely available.
This one comes with its original stylus stuck into it, and its owners manual on a CD.
