New IGP to hold press briefing at 3:00pm

Newly appointed Inspector General of Police (IGP) Md Mainul Islam will address a press briefing at 3:00pm today at police headquarters.
During the briefing, he will address the current situation of Bangladesh, as announced by Bangladesh Police media wing.
Mainul has been appointed as the new IGP, replacing Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, according to a circular issued by the Public Security Division of the Home Ministry last night.
